Since 2001, Stan Chen has crafted some of the finest custom 1911 pistols in the world. He has built a solid reputation in the industry of innovation, skillful craftsmanship, and meticulous attention to detail. Stan Chen Custom 1911s are prized by serious aficionados of the true custom 1911 who recognize the difference between 'good' and 'truly superb'.
We utilize a well equipped shop including CNC and manual milling, turning, surface grinding, advanced CAD/CAM software, precision TIG welding, heat treating, hardness testing and a large assortment of custom tools, fixtures and precision measuring instruments.
Precision AmmunitionIn 2010, Stan has taken that attention to detail and drive for excellence into the manufacture of precision, match grade ammunition for tactical, defensive and competition purposes. We call it ASYM PRECISION Ammunition. We draw on over 25 years of experience making high quality ammunition for both personal and professional purposes. Knowledge of precision weapon dynamics as a custom gunbuilder gives us unique insight into the specs and requirements of ammunition in high performance weapon platforms.
We have invested heavily in acquiring, modifying and/or making the necessary equipment to deliver the best quality ammunition. Our ammunition is loaded on fully automated equipment utilizing multiple fiber optic sensors and programmable logic control. Our focus is on the quality of every round made, rather than setting manufacturing records.
I am a constant end user of the product as a professional custom gunbuilder, competitive shooter, and student of tactical shooting. This, along with my personal and professional affiliations with many at the forefront of the industry, keep me in tune with the needs of the end user. ASYM PRECISION is driven by by a serious shooter, not a stuffed shirt corporate type driven solely by the bottom line. I demand more of the product than anyone.
