The same great features of the SI Magwell, now in a Compact edition. 2 models are available to fit most compact 1911s:

1. Colt/Kimber/Springfield. Fits Colt Defenders, Colt Officers, Kimber Ultra, and Springfield Compacts. Does not fit Springfield EMP.

2. Dan Wesson- DWs have a slightly different mainspring housing pin location; this model is made to specifically fit Dan Wesson pistols.

Mag well for Colt Defender

Thia was the easiest upgrade I have ever done.Everything fit as it should with no problems.It's a very rare thing to have the owner call to check on an order but he did.He exlained some little thing to be aware of which was of great help.I would say that this was the one the best buying experences I've had in a long time.

I just installed the SI Magwell on my STI Escort. It was a perfect fit, no modification needed. It matches the bevel on my frame exactly, so I couldn't be happier and it looks great too!

Compact SI Maxwell for Dan Wesson ECO

Just finished installing the Stan Chen Compact Shooter Installed Magwell on my Dan Wesson ECO. The workmanship and finish is impeccable. There are absolutely no gaps at the bottom and the tangs fit and blend with the pistol's front strap perfectly. Stan's "How To" video made it easy even for someone like me that has never done any disassembly on a 1911 frame. Now that I have finished, it's time to enjoy those peanut M&Ms. Nice touch Stan, thanks.

Install this magwell on my Dan Wesson Valkyrie CCO. This Magwell is beautiful and perfectly finished. Installation was straight forward and easy and it fit like a glove. I couldn’t be more happy with this product.

I have 2 mag well from Stan Chen on my full size they fit perfectly and are clean looking and big improvement. I got a DW pm-c for carry and there pin is located different that any others, but Stan Chen makes them for DW and it fit perfect and looks great most of all it speeds reloads up.

This is my second magwell and cannot be more happy with the craftsmanship and how beautifully it complements my 1911s. Not to mention the excellent customer service and guidance personally from Mr.Stan during installation. I’m really happy and will definitely be coming back again. Thanks guys.

Another good one

I bought one a while back for my full size Kimber, and it installed easily and works perfect. This Officer size magwell works equally well. I had a slight problem with the slide not coming off, and Stan advised that sometimes very minor filing of the mainspring housing ears is required on Kimbers to let the grip safety fully travel back when not depressed. This meant the firing pin block plunger was not fully retracting, preventing my slide from being removed. Minor filing was easily done, and all is well. A fantastic addition to my pistols, and the speed of reloading is night and day. Highly recommend!

The magwell was high quality and installed easily with no modification to the item or the pistol required, I installed on a Colt Defender. Customer service is top notch! I accidentally placed a magwell for a Government model in my cart at checkout, and contacted the store about the error. Libby promptly corrected the order and shipped the correct item.
