The SI Magwell is the latest addition to the Stan Chen Custom Magwell family. It delivers greatly enhanced reloads, elegant design and maximum durability.
Solid, one piece construction.
Large sculpted funnel for dramatically faster reloads. Through careful CAD design, every last millimeter of available real estate was turned into reload-enhancing surface area.
Designed to very nicely match the beveled magazine wells commonly found on current production 1911s, such as Springfields, Kimbers, Dan Wessons and current Colts (2018 production with fully beveled magazine well) .
Most Colts made prior to 2018, and other frames without full magazine bevels, will require minor blending. (See pictures above). We offer a "Blend Kit" to facilitate this (located under "Accesories").
Eliminates sharp frame corners. Unique funnel profile eliminates sharp edges at front of magazine well opening on the frame. Smoothing of all surfaces on the entire part yields total carry comfort.
Low profile roundbutt. Flowing design. The lines of the entire magwell were designed to flow well with the pistol, giving the bottom of the pistol a cohesive, custom look.
Custom quality checkering. Equaled only by the very best gunsmiths. Perfectly formed diamonds, row after row. Even at 20x magnification. Enhances recoil control.
One-Piece Durability. Precision CNC machined from a solid block of heat treated steel. No joints or screws to work loose, ever.

SI Magwell Install
This new magwell is one of the best upgrades to any 1911. I have a medium size hand and with the new magwell I don’t get that pinch in my palm from the normal sharp angle of the frame/mainspring housing. Plus, I just prefer the look with the new one piece magwell. Very easy to install as I have these on all my 1911s!

SI magwell for Colt Delta Elite
I'm extremely impressed with Stan's work. I've added several Wilson Bullet Proof parts to my Delta Elite, but every one required at least a little work to make them fit. This SI magwell required absolutely no blending at all. It's a perfect fit for factory Colts and it makes loading a breeze.. The checkering is aggressive, but that's exactly what I wanted. This is so much better than the factory plastic housing. Now I'm just waiting for my grip safety to arrive. I expect it to be the same excellent quality.

SI Magwell
Have installed two of these on Colt stainless frames- the finish and internal bevels are a near-perfect match, allowing for a quick and easy final blend with hand tools. The geometry of the funnel is excellent for fast reloads, the checkering is absolutely first-rate, the rounded heel is very welcome for general gun handling and the part simply exudes absolute quality.

This magwell is an extremely beautiful piece, fit my kimber eclipes custom 10mm well with no modifications. It is very nicely designed and works well with my tripp 10 rnd mags. Well done guys!

Magwell added a nice touch to my 1911. Craftsmanship is flawless and fit is perfectly with just a little blending, my mags slide right in without any problems. Definitely worth every penny
